A True Mid-Century Modern Statement Piece
Elevate your living space with this striking vintage 1970s rosewood credenza buffet. A stunning example of the midcentury modern (MCM) aesthetic with a touch of Danish design influence, this original piece features beautiful, rich rosewood grain. Its unique chrome mirrored plinth base makes the body appear to float, adding a sophisticated, architectural element to any room. In the style of Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggins.
This credenza offers ample storage space with its large cabinets and drawers, including dedicated hanging file drawers, making it a versatile piece for a dining room, living area, or professional office. Three original keys are included. The maker is unknown. This is a solid wood construction with rosewood veneer. The top does show a few defects and was touched up over the years. There is also some sun damage throughout. It would be a great candied for a full restoration or just use as-is.
The base is constructed by chrome sheet metal attached to a wood constructed base. The base is attached to the bottom of the credenza via 12 screws. The chrome base does show some swirls and few minor dings. It appears either 1 or 2 of the metal panels were reglued at some point and there is a small gap in one of the joints. Not noticeable upon normal placement and use.

Boxed items will be shipped typically within 2-3 days unless otherwise specified.
Purchaser should expect longer shipping times for large furniture versus other online purchases. It may take up to 30 days for a shipper to process and pickup a large furniture shipment. Please contact us for current furniture shipping timelines.

You may pick up your item without charge during normal business hours. We will be happy to help you load your purchase, however, we are not responsible for tying down your furniture, nor for any damages after you have left our facility. Please bring adequate tie downs and wrapping and inspect all merchandise prior to leaving our facility. Please contact MSG to schedule an item pickup.
Do you offer pick up discounts?

What is your general warranty policy?
All items sold on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. MSG does not offer a warranty for any preowned, vintage, antique, or estate pieces.
Regarding electrically powered items (i.e., lamps, vintage stereo equipment), these items are preowned and their current operational condition are described to the best of our ability in the item listing. Prior to use, all electrically powered items should be evaluated by a qualified electrician or repair professional.What is your return policy?
All sales are final. MSG encourages the Purchaser to contact us before purchase to ask any questions or concerns before purchasing. Preowned, vintage, antique, or estate items may have “normal wear” commensurate with age.
